Party Booking Terms & Conditions

Deposit – A non-refundable deposit of 50% has been taken to hold the booking, which will be deducted from the total balance of the party when the final balance is due. A copy of your receipt is attached if you booked by phone.

Payment – The outstanding balance is due a minimum of 7 days before the party and cannot be paid on the day of the party. You can pay online, in the centre or pay by card over the phone by calling 01702 530404 option 3. At this time, you will need to confirm numbers of children attending, your chosen party package and any extras you wish to add. Certain extras such as face painting or balloon modelling are subject to staff availability, so if you would like them for your party it is advisable to inform us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Unfortunately, once you have paid your outstanding balance and confirmed final numbers you will not be able to have a refund under any circumstances. You must pay for the minimum number of children required for your party package, but can pay for additional children on the day if you are not sure of how many will attend. Payments may appear on your card statement as The Factory Shops depending on what card terminal that is used to take payment as they are our sister company.

Final Payment Made – Unfortunately this payment is now non-refundable, even if you have some children that do not show on the day.  As discussed, if you have extra children arrive on the day you can pay for these on the day. A copy of your receipt is attached if you paid by card, or you will have been given a receipt if you paid in cash.

Cancellation – If there are any mitigating circumstances or adverse weather conditions that could prevent you from being able to attend the party, it will be at the manager’s discretion to offer to move the party date to another day acceptable to both parties, but under no circumstances will a refund be offered. Please be aware that all cancellations must be received by email and an acknowledgment will be sent in return.  Failure to do this may result in the full amount becoming payable. In the event of a cancellation of your party, you must reschedule within 90 days of the original party date. We will not accept any cancellations 7 days prior to your party.

Arrival Times – We will not allow early entry so please do not arrive any more than 15 minutes before the start of your party. Within the 15 minutes your party host will greet you and run through everything with you and then get the party started at the start time that you have booked your party for. Parties are 2 hours long – 90mins of play and the last 30mins in party room.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Adults – There is no entrance charge for adults accompanying children attending the party. A table will be reserved near to the party rooms for the adults to sit at. Adults are able to purchase refreshments from the cafe. If adults wish to ice skate or rock climb with their children, there is a charge of £2 for each activity. Please be advised that your party host is there to organise the party, but responsibility of all the children remains with the parents or guardians at all times.

Clothing – Socks must be worn at all times while in the centre and socks can be purchased from reception for £1. Children are advised to wear suitable covered clothing to avoid friction when going down the slides and on the equipment. Adults and children must wear socks at all times due to health and safety rules and regulations.

Party Rooms – Party Rooms hold 25-30 children dependant on the age group of the children at the time. If you have booked for a group this size and on the day you have extra’s arrive please be advised this may then be a bit of a squeeze for them all to get in around the table. Party rooms may not be available at a start of party but will always be available at least the last 30 minutes when the party room will be needed.

Rock climbing – To participate, children must be a minimum age of 4, a minimum height of 3ft 6 and under the maximum weight of 15 stone/ 92kg, to ensure that the full body harness fits correctly. Closed-toe shoes must be worn. If you have booked a party from 4pm onwards, it is advisable to make this your first attraction to visit to avoid disappointment, as only so many children can go on at one time and it takes a little while to put the harness equipment on each child.

Ice skating – Please note the smallest size ice skate available for loan is a size 7. It may not be possible for all children in the party group to skate at the same time due to availability of skate sizes.

Additional requirements – Please feel free to contact us before the party if you have any additional requirements. We can also reserve high chairs in your party room if you will have younger guests attending your party. All gifts/personal items remain the sole responsibility of the parent/guests. A selfie photo will be taken at the beginning of the party of your host and birthday child, with your consent on the day to be placed on our Fun Factory Facebook page. In the unlikely event that you have a child within your party group that has a serious food allergy or other dietary requirements then please discuss this with us beforehand so we can determine how best to deal with this in the best interests of the child concerned.
